San Isidro Fair 2026: Lagunajanda for José Garrido, Ismael Martín and Samuel Navalón

The San Isidro Fair continues to offer line-ups of great interest for aficionados. On Wednesday, 3 June, at 7:00 pm, the Plaza de Toros de Las Ventas will host a promising and high profile corrida: Lagunajanda bulls for three toreros at different stages of their careers.

A line-up of proven triumphs and rising talent

José Garrido: The Extremaduran matador arrives in Madrid as a fully established name on the major fair circuit. His career is backed by major achievements in top tier arenas: the indulto of a Vegahermosa bull in Nimes, his memorable afternoon in Bilbao where he cut two ears from a Fuente Ymbro bull and was proclaimed the fair’s overall winner, as well as strong performances in Pamplona, Mont de Marsan, Cuenca and Zaragoza. At Las Ventas he has delivered both as a novillero and as a matador, confirming his ability to rise to the most demanding occasions.

Ismael Martín: From Salamanca, he represents one of the most solid progressions of his generation. His name gained prominence after opening the Puerta Grande of Las Ventas as a novillero without picadors in 2021. Since then, he has continued to grow, achieving notable triumphs in Salamanca, Ávila and Cuéllar against demanding ganaderías. His participation in circuits such as the Liga Nacional de Novilladas consolidated him as a torero with clear ambition and strong future prospects.

Samuel Navalón: The Valencian matador arrives at San Isidro following a rapid and successful rise. As a novillero without picadors he made a strong impact, particularly with his debut in Montealegre, where he cut four ears and two tails, and by winning prestigious competitions such as the Bolsín de Ciudad Rodrigo and the Bolsín de Bougue. With picadors, he has enjoyed important afternoons in Almería and Algemesí, where he was awarded the Naranja de Oro. In 2024 he took his alternativa in Albacete, cutting two ears, and confirmed in Madrid that same month, marking a decisive step in his career.

Important information about access to the event

• Tickets will be sent in PDF format 3–4 days before the event.

• Tickets must be printed on paper. Entry will not be allowed with digital tickets or mobile devices.

• The printed ticket must be presented at the entrance and will be validated by scanner.

• If multiple copies of the same ticket exist, only the first one presented will be valid.

• The purchase invoice does not grant access to the event.

• It is recommended to arrive at least one hour in advance, check your entrance gate and locate your seat calmly.

• Once the bullfight has begun, access to seats will not be permitted.
