Cid de María

Cristian Galeano Cid, known as Cid de María, is a young 17 year old novillero born in Yunquera de Henares, Guadalajara. Despite his youth, he has demonstrated his commitment and responsibility in the bullfighting world. A promising talent who aspires to become a bullfighter.

Debut without Picadors: He wore lights for the first time in the Certamen Alfarero de Plata in June 2022, in the bullring of Villaseca de la Sagra, Toledo.

Debut with Picadors: His debut with picadors was on June 4, 2023 in the bullring of Horche, Guadalajara, alternating with Jorge Molina and Victor Cerrato, to fight bulls from the San Roman farm. He cut three ears.

He has fought seven novilladas with picadors since his debut in Horche, standing out in important celebrations such as Sigüenza, Trillo, Yunquera de Henares and Azuqueca de Henares, leaving all of them by the big door. In addition, Cid de María has been a finalist in the Bolsín de Ciudad de Rodrigo and has participated in the cycle of Promesas de Nuestra Tierra, a reference among the novilleros without picadors.
