Carlos Fernandez, attended when he was 11 years old a bullfighting charity festival in La Puebla del Rio and while he was excited watching the master "Espartaco" bullfighting decided that he wanted to be a bullfighter. He practiced in secret from his parents at the estate of the bullfighter Morante de la Puebla.
